BIOL 303 - General Ecology(4 cr) This course emphasizes principles at the population, community, and ecosystem levels of organization. Representative topics include energy flow, biogeochemical cycles, population regulation, types of ecosystems. Consideration given to society’s relationship to its environment. Previously numbered BIOL 420. Prerequisites: BIOL 211 and BIOL 212 , or permission of instructor.
