EDUC 525 - The Special Learner in the Regular Classroom

(3 cr)This course is designed to help educators develop strategies and techniques for working with the exceptional child. Educators will develop an understanding of a wide range of exceptionalities, ranging from students with severe educational challenges to gifted and talented students. Research, attitudes, and current practices as they relate to exceptional children will be discussed and analyzed.
