NURS 231 - Introduction to Nursing

(2 cr)This is the survey course for all junior and senior level nursing courses. It is designed to provide an overview of the nursing profession. The Shepherd University B.S.N. mission, philosophy, conceptual framework, and expected outcomes are presented. All concepts, subconcepts, and curricular threads are introduced.Prerequisites: Sophomore standing and nursing program pre-acceptance. This course must be taken at Shepherd University.
