MUSC 233 - String Techniques(1 cr)Designed for music majors to acquaint them with the pedagogical principles of string performance. The student performs on all the stringed instruments during the semester. The method of organization involves two tracks: the development of the manipulative skills and the study of teaching techniques associated with instrumental music as related uniquely to the strings. Public ensemble performance is expected.Prerequisites: Music major.
