(2 cr)An introduction to the fundamentals of music theory, this class teaches students to read music, clefs, key signatures, and musical intervals. It will also teach students the basics of solfѐge and aural dictation. This course cannot be used to fulfill degree requirements for the music major or minor.Prerequisites: Please see special requirements for music majors regarding Theory Placement Exam.
