MATH 102 - Math for Elementary Teachers(3 cr)A study of the structure of mathematical systems and operations defined on these systems; historical development of numbers and number systems including contributions from diverse cultures; and elementary probability, statistics, and data analysis. Emphasis on building conceptual understanding and developing problem-solving skills. Appropriate use of technology will be incorporated throughout the course.
