(3 cr)The historic and present day relationship of humans to plants on wild lands. Examines the scientific principles underlying proper use of forest and range lands; wood, forage, and water production; fire, pests, and forest management; recreation and wild land management; and the roles of individuals and private and governmental organizations related to wild lands.Prerequisites: One year of biology.
