ENGL 104 - Science and Technical Writing

(3 cr)A continuation of ENGL 101  for students with an interest or major in the physical or natural sciences or technical disciplines. The course focuses on critical reading, thinking, and writing using science and technical texts as a basis for writing assignments and class discussion. The course also emphasizes computer skills, collaborative writing, and research and presentation methods for the scientific and technical communities.

 Prerequisites: ENGL 101 .
