CIS 419 - Data Communication and Computer Networks

(3 cr)This course introduces the role of data communications and computer networks in a computer science environment. Special topics include concepts in fundamental communications; data communication hardware; serial, parallel, Ethernet, and network configurations; protocols and software; microcomputer communications; and computer networks.Prerequisites: CIS 234 .
