The purpose of the minor is to provide students a foundation for understanding, the properties and structure of materials, analyze, design and implement creative solutions to problems. They contribute effectively as team members, communicate clearly and interact responsibly and ethically. Students completing this minor will gain a deeper understanding of the interdependence of science, technology, and engineering.
