EDUC 380 - Technology in 21st-Century Teaching and Learning(3 cr) The focus of this course is the effective use of 21st-century technology in the contemporary classroom. The course aims to help teachers use the power of computer technology to spark students’ imagination and ultimately move them toward greater learning. This course provides a critical analysis of the full range of educational technology and its use in the classroom. In this course, pre-service teacher candidates will develop knowledge, skills, and dispositions which support the use of technology to create effective learning environments that provide opportunities for students to interact with content in meaningful ways and to assess students in nontraditional ways. Prerequisites: Admission to teacher education program.
